Threads of Love

Threads of Love, through the effort and support of many participants in chapters across the country, provides clothing, blankets and other handmade articles for tiny premature and sick infants. We desire to show God's love to the parents and loved ones of these babies in their time of uncertainty.  Ladies meet  monthly at St. Mark's to knit and sew for preemies in our local hospitals. For more information contact Joan Fornwalt at 361-9503.

A.I.C.C.

The Autauga Interfaith Care Center was begun largely due to the efforts of St. Mark’s. A.I.C.C. is an emergency-need resource center for people in our community who have fallen on desperate times. A.I.C.C. provides food and other assistance to families and individuals. Click for AICC on the web.

Food for the Poor

Food For The Poor is the largest international relief agency in the United States  and  has maintained fundraising and administrative costs of less than 5% of its expenses; more than 95% of all donations go directly to programs that help the poor. St. Mark's has partnered with Food for the Poor since 2006 to help provide food, medicine, and education to the poorest of the poor.

St. Mark’s Players

St. Mark's Player formed in 2008 with the production of "Spark in Judea," a play concerning the passion of Christ as seen from the unique vantage of Pilate's household (photo above). In 2009, the medieval passion play "Everyman" was performed under the direction of Ginger Collum. The following year Ginger brought the Broadway smash "Nunsense" to Ray Hall to packed audiences. Future faith-based  productions will no doubt be making their way to St. Mark's as our commitment to the Arts and Religion continues to flourish.
