St. Mark’s Nite

St. Mark’s Nite Recipe

  1. Take a Wednesday Night

  2. Put in a pinch of fun…

  3. A dash of fellowship…

  4. Add a lot of food, and throw in some learning on the side

  5. …and you have the perfect recipe for a great part of two weeks a month—September through May!

St. Mark’s Nite began in 2005 and, like all good things, has undergone improvement during its growth. St. Mark’s Nite is now held twice a month during September–May: on the first and third Wednesdays of each month.

Supper begins at 5:30 p.m.–after the 5:00 Holy Eucharist–and the program ends by 7:00 p.m.

All St. Mark’s Nite Wednesdays are  Pot luck dinner, with no charge. Bring a dish or two to share!

Pancake Supper & Talent Night

Each year St. Mark’s youth serve a delicious  pancake dinner on Shrove Tuesday (the day before Lent begins on Ash Wednesday).

In conjunction with the pancake dinner,  the parish hosts an annual "Talent Show" with songs, dance, magic tricks, juggling, poetry and the corniest jokes on the planet.

Members are encouraged to "strut their stuff" on this very special night.

Everything from the sublime to the silly comes our way during this annual event.

Evensong–with a twist

St. Mark's has its own band, "Epiphany," which performs at a unique service held at different times throughout the year.

The service is called "Evensong--with a twist!" It blends traditional centuries-old worship with the music of a rock and roll/country music band (thus the "twist").
